Strengths
Where Jobscan is stronger
Jobscan’s scan reports keyword gaps, synonyms and findings aimed at applicant tracking systems. CandidThread checks whether your experience proves each requirement, not how a particular ATS reads the file.
Jobscan has a LinkedIn optimiser and auto-apply credits. CandidThread has neither.
Jobscan’s quarterly plan starts with 7 days of full Premium. CandidThread’s Free plan has no time limit but smaller allowances.
Where CandidThread is different
A keyword can appear in a resume without the experience behind it. CandidThread only marks a requirement covered when a line from your resume proves it, and shows you that line.
CandidThread can only reword and reorder what you’ve told it, and a separate check flags any sentence without a source. You approve each change.
Likely questions per job, spoken mock interviews and debriefs of real interviews are part of CandidThread, not an add-on.
